JALPALLY: Residents in Jalpally, Hyderabad, particularly those near the municipality office, are urgently seeking relief from persistent drainage issues. Despite expressing concerns to the Municipal Commissioner, they continue to face problems with drainage water overflow and foul odors, affecting their health and daily lives.

Residents alleged that the overflow not only poses a health hazard but also disrupted normal life in the vicinity. The unpleasant odor, a constant source of discomfort, hampers residents’ ability to cross the Jalpally main road.

Taking to social media, residents tagged authorities, tweeting, “Dear @GHMCOnline @HMWSSBOnline, residents of Jalpally main road towards the municipality office are suffering from drainage water overflow & bad smell for several months; please attend urgently.”

The gravity of the situation became apparent when residents shared their plight on social media, highlighting the inconvenience caused by drainage overflow and the persistent bad smell. The residents demanded urgent relief from this longstanding drainage problem in their colony.
