ALWAL: On Monday, Manjeera Nagar residents’ welfare association expressed dismay over the prolonged delay in road construction, despite their repeated appeals to GHMC officials. The association, in a letter to the Zonal Commissioner, highlighted the lack of response from authorities despite numerous requests.

The letter specifically addressed the incomplete CC road at Road No.7 in Manjeera Colony, Old Alwal, which has remained dug up for nearly 8 months without any progress. According to the association, similar issues have persisted in Manjeera Colony, Old Alwal, where roads were dug up 10 months ago with no sign of new roads being laid.

Speaking on behalf of the association, the General Secretary said the roads were dug up during the previous tenure of MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao at BRS, and remained dug up for almost a year. “Now the MLA has recently switched to the party,” he added, suggesting the lack of response from GHMC officials could be linked to political agendas.
