TGSTRC MD Sajjanar warns of legal action against fake videos involving RTC buses

Tgstrc Warns Fake Videos

Hyderabad: Recently, an unpopular trend of doing risky stunts to get the attention on social media has become rampant among youth. On the other hand, people are also passing off edited videos as if they are real stunts and thereby trying to project a bad influence on others.

One such video has also gone viral on social media, claiming itself to be a stunt performed by a youth near Yousufguda in the city of Hyderabad. In the viral video, one can see the person, straight away going on to the middle of the road and sneaking under a moving bus of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation. However, this video is only a magic created by the editing skills of someone and not a real stunt performed by anyone.

Now, TGSRTC MD VC Sajjanar, has come on fire, as the video showcases a corporation bus and setting a bad example for the other youth on social media and added that legal action would also be taken.

Legal action would be taken on such videos

In a warning post that he made on X (formerly Twitter), Sajjanar said, “This video which is going viral on social media is fake. This is a fully edited video. Some people are editing videos like this to be popular on social media. It is not a good practice to try to tarnish the image of RTC with such shenanigans. There is a danger of others imitating these types of unintended actions done for likes and comments. Edited videos that are made for fun can also cause harm to others. Such incidents #TGSRTC are taken seriously by the management. Legal action will be taken against those responsible.”

Recently, a couple of videos have also gone viral, where youth were seen risking their lives in real life. In one video, a girl in her teenage years was seen hanging from over the top of a building, while her friends on the top gave her the grip. This was recorded from multiple angles, indicating a planned action to gain attention on social media.
