Rachakonda police busts fake education certificate racket

LB Nagar:Special operations team(SOT) busted a fake degree educational certificate racket and arrested two men involved in the offence. The accused was selling the certificate for Rs 3000. The police have seized fake degree educational certificates of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi and Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Bihar.

With a tip off regarding the fake degree educational certificate racket, SOT-Maheshwaram raided a shop at Lavern Complex, Chaitanyapuri and found the accused in possession of fake educational certificates.

When questioned accused Mohammed Abrar Hussain he confessed that to make quick bucks he started preparing and selling of fake educational certificates to the VISA aspirants and other educational consultancies by using Photoshop software

Investigation revealed that consultancy directors used to hand over the needy certificates and other documents for which they used to collect Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 packages if the aspirants got a VISA. Since last two years he has been providing fake educational certificates to the Consultancy agencies and used to charge about Rs. 2,000 to 3,000 per each, sometimes he used to handover to the needy persons by taking commission.

Based on the confession the team arrested accused Mohammed Abrar Hussain who is running a consultancy office and used to create the fake documents with the help of Ram Singh hailing from Uttar Pradesh.

SOT-Maheshwaram Zone team handed over the two accused and the seized materials to Chaitanyapuri police for further investigation. Chaitanyapuri police booked a case under section 420(Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 468(Forgery for purpose of cheating), 471(Using as genuine a forged document or electronic record) r/w 34 of Indian Penal code (IPC).

During interrogation the accused Mohammed Abrar Hussain revealed that he created fake degree certificates and sold them to four persons Sachi Patel from Gujarat, Rahul Sood from Delhi,Ashwaq and Haifa from Mehadipatnam, Hyderabad. The police served the 41 A notices to them. Chaitanyapuri police have launched a manhunt against Ram Singh and further investigation is underway.

Hyderabad Traffic police cracks down on school vehicle violations

Hyderabad: In a special drive against the vehicle plying school children, Hyderabad Traffic Police has cracked a whip against vehicles carrying school children in excess of the capacity and also the vehicle condition in Hyderabad City.

On Thursday Hyderabad traffic police identified 406 Auto rickshaw drivers not wearing proper uniform , 95 auto rickshaw carrying excess school children, 57 cases where school children were sitting beside the driver, 11 auto rickshaw drivers without driving licence, and 11 auto rickshaw without documents.

Most concerning is the wrong side driving. Traffic police have found 40 auto rickshaw drivers driving on the wrong side. Wrong side driving led to one of the most causes of accidents reported in the last few years.

“We have formed special teams which will conduct a special drive in the morning from 07.30 a.m to 09.30 a.m. and in the evening from 03.00 p.m. to 05.00 p.m.” Hyderabad Traffic police in an official statement. Further they added, Special focus is kept on the Auto Rickshaws without fitness certificates, without driving licence, drunken drive, overloading (more than 6 children of 12 years and below in 3 passenger Auto Rickshaw and 8 children in 4 passenger Auto Rickshaw), minor driving, and other violations.

These special teams will also hold a meeting with school management and counsel the parents who are carrying extra children on their two-wheelers and explain to them about the security and safety of school children.

Hyderabad Traffic Police appealed to all the parents not to send their children in a vehicle carrying more than the seating capacity. “Transporting Children in an overloaded vehicle is a clear violation of Traffic rules. This endangers the lives of children,” said Hyderabd traffic police.

Further they requested the school managements and parents to check the validity of documents -Driving Licence of Driver, Registration Certificate, Insurance Certificate and Fitness Certificate- of vehicles before engaging such vehicles for sending children to the Schools. They are also requested to verify the antecedents / behavior of the driver.
