Miyapur police cracks murder mystery of 13-year old tribal girl

Miyapur: Miyapur police cracked the mystery behind the murder of a 13-year-old tribal girl from Mahabubabad district and arrested her father.

Going further into the details, the girl went missing on June 7 and the family lodged a complaint with the Miyapur police. Days after she went missing her dead body was recovered from an isolated location under Miyapur police station limits.

According to the police, the victim’s family hailing from Mahabubabad district migrated to Hyderabad in search of better livelihood. The family was staying in Nadigada thanda(a hamlet) under Miyapur limits. Initially the girl’s parents lodged a complaint with Miyapur police stating that when they went out for some work and returned they could not find their daughter, following which they lodged a missing complaint with Miyapur police. Miyapur police launched an investigation into it. Her dead body was recovered on June 13 and sent to Osmanian general hospital for postmortem examination. Further the body was shifted to her native place.

Meanwhile Miyapur police who launched a probe analyzed the CCTV footage in the surrounding areas and technical evidence and suspected the role of the victim’s father and took him into custody.

Father confessed to crime

When questioned, the victim’s father confessed that he killed his daughter. The accused confessed that he asked his daughter to satisfy his sexual desire. Alarmed by the father’s indecent demand the victim went into shock and screamed for help and threatened to inform her mother.

Scared about the same, the accused smothered her daughter to death. Following which he escaped from the spot. Investigation revealed that the accused was addicted to porn and tried to force himself on her. Miyapur police arrested the accused and sent to judicial custody and further investigation is underway.
