Medchal Broad Daylight Robbery: Botched Heist, Jeweller Stabbed
Medchal: In a broad daylight robbery two bike borne assailants stabbed a jewellery shop owner in Medchal under Cyberabad police commissionerate in a botched robbery. The victim smartly escaped from the shop and screamed for help. The assailants who were caught off guard escaped from the spot empty handed.

The robbery which was captured in the shop’s CCTV footage shows two bike borne assailants parked their bike in front of the shop. The pillion rider who was wearing a burqa entered the shop and threatened the shop owner wielding a knife. The robber demanded the owner to give the gold ornaments and cash. They order the owner to put the cash into a bag. Meanwhile the accused in the burqa event stabbed the owner on the neck. The associate who was riding the bike also entered the shop wearing a helmet. The owner escaped with an injury.
Speaking to the media police medchal police said, “The assailants entered the shop and threatened the shop owner and committed robbery. Special teams were formed to nab the accused. As the suspects spoke in Hindi we are suspecting that they are from North India.”
The victim showed composure and asked them to take away the ornaments. As the assailants were discussing about a bag to put the ornaments and make away from the shop. Taking advantage of the same teh victim escaped from the shop and came onto the road running and screamed for help, added the police officer.
The assailants who were caught off guard left the bag and rushed out the shop and escaped from the spot. The victim’s son who was also present at the time of attack tried to stop the assailants while escaping by throwing a small stool. However the suspects were successful in escaping from the spot.
Medchal police booked a robbery and attempted to murder case and started an investigation. Special teams were launched to nab the accused.
