Hyderabad: The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced another trip of the Bharat Gaurav tourist train, and named the trip as Punya Kshetra Yaatra: Ayodhya โ€“ Kashi, scheduled from July 9 to 17, 2024, departing from Secunderabad Railway Station.

The 9-day pilgrimage tour will begin from Secunderabad Railway Station on July 9, covering holy destinations including Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj. This special journey offers passengers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh a chance to visit significant sites such as the newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya and the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, where rituals like Pind Pradan for ancestors can be performed at Gaya.

Passengers can board and de-board the train at various stations, including, Secunderabad, Kazipet (Warangal), Khammam in Telangana, and Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Vizag (Pendurthi), Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh, and Titlagarh in Odisha.

The tour is priced at Rs. 15,150/- for Economy Sleeper Class, Rs. 24,300/- for Standard (3AC), and Rs. 31,500/- for Comfort (2AC), inclusive of GST.
