BACHUPALLY: Residents of Bachupally voice concerns over perilous road conditions near Reddy Lab, adjacent to Narayana Junior College, heading towards Gandimaisamma.

Expressing frustration, residents claim the stretch from Dargah to Bachupally signal is in deplorable condition. Despite multiple complaints to Municipal Commissioner Nizampet, there has been no relief.

Residents point out the lack of response from the Municipal Commissioner’s team despite numerous complaints. They highlight a tragic incident from six months ago when a fatal road accident claimed the life of a 7-year-old schoolgirl riding pillion with her father.

On August 2, 2023, a school bus collided with their two-wheeler, resulting in the tragic loss of the child’s life. The father sustained injuries, emphasizing the urgency for road repairs.

Residents fear that the precarious condition of the road may lead to more accidents. Despite efforts to contact authorities, they await a response from the Nizampet Municipal Commissioner.

Taking their plea to social media, residents implore, “Kind attention and action, please! Dangerous road conditions near Reddy Lab beside Narayana Junior College Bachupally towards Gandimaisamma.”

Surendra Uplanchiwar, a Bachupally resident and social activist, expressed disappointment, stating, “Despite promises from local Corporator Balaji and multiple complaints, there has been no progress in the last two years. Even tweets tagging Nizampet municipality handle receive no response. Looks like they don’t care. A complaint lodged on August 24, 2023, was closed on September 9, 2023, without any repairs by Nizampet Municipal Corporation. We have refrained from raising tickets since then.”
