Traffic Restrictions Imposed for MMTS Phase-II Construction in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Traffic Police have implemented traffic restrictions to facilitate the speedy construction of the MMTS Phase-II railway track connectivity. Which is between Sitafalmandi and Lallaguda, including the extension of RUB 1A & 1B at Alaguddabavi on the Inner Ring Road. These restrictions, effective from April 3, 2024, for a period of 90 days, aim to minimize inconvenience to commuters.

During this period, traffic flow will be impacted on several routes. Specifically, Road No. 01 (1st vent on Sitafalmandi end) and Road No. 02 (Middle Vent) will serve as passages for traffic passing through Alugaddabavi from Mettuguda. Meanwhile, Road No. 03 will accommodate traffic traveling from Rail Nilayam towards Mettuguda. However, the 1st vent and Middle Vents will remain blocked for 90 days, with each vent inaccessible for 45 days, leading to expected traffic congestion in the area.

Hyderabad residents are urged to take note of these traffic restrictions.  And the ongoing construction work related to the MMTS Phase-II railway track connectivity project. It is advisable for commuters to seek alternative routes to reach their destinations smoothly. People who are going to Uppal stadium on Friday are also keep this in mind while commuting.

Traffic coming from Tarnaka, Mettuguda, Lalapet, towards Sangeeth X Roads

Commuters aiming towards Alugaddabavi and Chilkaiguda X Roads from Tarnaka, Lalapet, ECIL, Nacharam, and Moula Ali are requested to take the diversion at Tarnaka X Roads towards OU Campus road via Sitafalmandi flyover.

Traffic aiming towards Sangeeth X Road from Malkajgiri, Mirzalguda

Commuters coming from Lallapet, Shanthi Nagar, Mirzalguda and Malkajgiri towards Sangeeth X Road will be diverted at Lalaguda Railway station towards Tukaramgate RUB.
