HYDERABAD: Telangana Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has done some significant modifications by postponing the current dates of TG EAPCET (formerly TS EAMCET) 2024 counseling. Significant dates have been changed, bringing in fresh deadlines for the engineering admission process. The engineering counselling has to start on June 27. But now this date has been moved to July 4 by TSCHE.

Updated schedule for TG EAPCET counseling 2024

In this new revised dates, students will have a longer time duration of July 6 to July 13 to prepare and submit their documents for their certificate verification in the first phase. Furthermore, the time frame for online choices has been prolonged, now open from July 8 until July 15, with the initial round of seat allocation set for July 19. The engineering counselling’s second phase will start on July 26, with certificate verification on July 27. Web choices for the next stage will become available on July 27 and 28, with seat allocation taking place on July 31. The last counseling stage is set to start on August 8, followed by certificate verification on August 9, and web options on August 9 and 10. The final seat allotment for the third phase is set for August 13. Guidelines for spot admissions will be released on August 28. The centralized internal sliding for the convenor quota will start on August 21, with web options freezing on August 22, and seat allotment on August 26. Candidates are required to report to their final alloted colleges on August 27 and 28.

Strong participation in TG EAPCET 2024

This year, the TG EAPCET examination witnessed a significant turnout. In the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, 91,633 candidates appeared, boasting an attendance rate of 91.24%. In the Engineering stream, 240,618 candidates took the exam. Overall, 332,251 students participated in the TG EAPCET 2024 exams. Concerning results, male candidates achieved an 88.25% pass rate in Agriculture and Pharmacy, while female candidates reached 90.18%. The overall pass rate for these streams was 89.66%. In the Engineering stream, male candidates secured a pass rate of 74.38%, while female candidates scored 75.85%. The overall pass rate in the Engineering stream stood at 89.66%.
