BENGALURU: Bengaluru Police revealed that Telugu actor Hema is among 86 individuals who tested positive for drug consumption. The revelation follows the bust of a rave party at a farmhouse in the city of Bengaluru. Police raid revealed that drugs are used in large-scale at the gathering.

Rave Party Bust at Farmhouse

The event, held on May 19/20, was a large-scale gathering under the guise of a birthday celebration. It soon turned into a site for extensive drug use. Despite Actor Hema’s public denial via video, her flight tickets confirmed her travel to Bengaluru. Police labeled her statements as false.

The rave party, titled “VASU’S BIRTHDAY” Sunset to Sunrise Victory, saw over 100 people in attendance. The initial FIR, registered on May 19, documented complaints of public disturbance and the sale and consumption of illegal substances such as MDMA, cocaine, and hydroganja. Among the 103 attendees tested, 86 were found to have consumed drugs.

Police Actions and Discoveries

Law enforcement, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police B. S. Mohannumar and Police Inspector B. Ayyanna Reddy, conducted the raid at 4:00 AM. They employed narcotic detection kits and other investigative tools. During the raid, they discovered various drugs and paraphernalia, including MDMA pills, crystals, cocaine, and hydroganja. They also found DJ equipment and two cars.

Key Individuals Implicated

Key individuals implicated include Vasu (A1), Arun Kumar (A2), Nagababu (A3), Ranadhir Babu (A4), and Mohamadh Aboobkar Siddik (A5). The party organizer, Vasu, allegedly coordinated the event at the GR Farmhouse. The farmhouse is owned by Gopala Reddy (A6), who claimed ignorance of the drug activities. The accused were found with significant quantities of drugs, with the total value of seized items estimated at around one and a half crores.

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) took over the investigation from the Electronic City and Hebbagodi police stations. They are set to issue notices and summon those whose blood samples tested positive.
