TELLAPUR: With the aim of educating all voters about the importance of casting their franchise on election day, the Tellapur Neighborhood Association (TeNA) organized a voter awareness run on Saturday ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

Over 200 residents from various communities in Tellapur participated in this voter awareness run conducted between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. on April 27, 2024.

Voter Awareness

The association believes that the basic right of voters to exercise their franchise can bring about the required change in the rulers to work for the good of citizens. Hence, the need to vote in the ensuing general elections to be held on May 13, 2024, and improve the voter turnout is targeted.

SVEEP nodal officer and Ameenpur Municipal Commissioner Jyothi Reddy, Tellapur Municipal Commissioner Sangareddy, RC Puram MRO Sangram Reddy, Kollur circle inspector Ravinder, and other officials participated in this run to spread the message among citizens about the importance of voting. They appealed to residents to visit their polling booths and cast their votes. Particularly, the emphasis was placed on the turnout of educated people on polling day by the officials.

The participants pledged to spread this awareness among residents in their communities and motivate them to visit the polling stations on the election date, May 13, 2024, to cast their votes.

The president of TeNA, Ramana Eshwaragari, thanked all the officials and residents for making this voter awareness run successful.
