HYDERABAD: The Telangana Forest Department has taken a significant step towards promoting environmental awareness by establishing a stall at the Numaish Exhibition. The stall aims to highlight the importance of forests and educate visitors about the department’s conservation initiatives in an accessible manner.

The exclusive stall, hosted by the Telangana Forest Department, goes beyond a mere display – it is a carefully curated space designed to captivate visitors of all ages. Dobriyal underscored the meticulous arrangement of the stall, intended to showcase not only the significance of forests but also the concrete conservation efforts initiated by the Forest Department.

Aiming to create an engaging experience for families, the stall features interactive displays for children and dedicated sections highlighting handicrafts, medicinal plants, and even a mini zoo. Overseeing the setup, Forest Utilization Officer D.V. Reddy ensured a comprehensive and immersive visit for all attendees.

The officials present during the occasion include S.F. (SF) Gold, Chief Conservator (R & D), Priyanka Varghese, Dean of Forest College, and Syedulu, Chief Conservator from Hyderabad. The event also saw the presence of M. Joshi, the DFO, and other officials from various branches of the Forest Department. This unique exhibition stall marks a commendable effort by the Telangana Forest Department to foster understanding and appreciation for our natural environment.
