Telangana CM Revanth Reddy invited to International Kite & Sweets festival 2024

The International Kite and Sweet Festival, organized to boost Hyderabad's brand image

HYDERABAD: Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Wednesday extended an invitation to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for the International Kites & Sweets Festival-2024. The festival is scheduled to take place at Secunderabad Parade Ground from January 13 to 15, 2024.

Jupally Krishna described Hyderabad as a ‘Mini India’ due to its diverse population. The city, hosting people from various states and regions, is known for its cosmopolitan nature and multicultural appeal, attracting residents of different religions, he added.

The International Kite & Sweet Festival, organized to boost Hyderabad’s brand image, anticipates the participation of kite players from 16 countries and various Indian states, with an estimated attendance of around 15 lakh visitors.

The Kite and Sweet Festival, as highlighted by Jupally Krishna, will showcase a diverse array of kites in the sky, accompanied by the sale of 400 types of homemade sweets and Telangana cuisine. The event, featuring cultural programs, welcomes all spectators with free entry.
