Person cuts his tongue in Banjara Hills over Andhra Politics

Banjara Hills: In a bizarre incident, a person has cut his tongue, as he wishes his desired leader to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He prayed to Lord Venkateshwara temple in Banjara Hills that he would cut his tongue, if the leader that he wishes comes to power on Sunday. The incident took place in Banjara Hill Police station limits, soon, police reached the spot as they were informed about this incident, they soon came to the spot and took the person to the hospital.

In a letter that is now circulating in the social media, the person has been identified as Chevala Mahesh, a resident of West Godavari district. This is not the first time he performed this act of cutting his tongue, earlier in 2009 for Y S Rajashekar Reddy, later in 2014 for YS S Jagan Mohan Reddy as well, now he wished for the Telugu Desam Party to come to power and Chandrababu Naidu to become Chief Minister, prayed for the victory of Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram and Nara Lokesh’s victory in Mangalagiri. Further he peculiarly wished for the majority of over 100 MLA belonging to the opposition alliance to win.

The political atmosphere in Andhra

Meanwhile, the political atmosphere in the state of Andhra Pradesh is also heated up as the election is round the corner. As of now, a silent period is being observed as the campaign is closed. It is pertinent to note that, this time in the elections, the Telugu Desam Party-Jana Sena Party and Bharatiya Janata Party are fighting together for the election, the ruling YSRCP party is going solo in this election. The state is going to see elections for both the assembly seats and parliamentary seats as well, while there are 175 assembly seats, there are 25 parliamentary seats in the state.
