At Jampanas Vaarahi Hotel, Kukatpally Y Junction, the team found the food business operator (FBO) operating with a registration certificate despite their turnover falling under the license category. Frozen chicken was not stored at the recommended temperature mentioned on its label. Food handlers were not wearing headgear, gloves, and aprons. The kitchen lacked proper insect-proof screens and the doors were not close-fitted, allowing pests to enter. The second kitchen was open to the outside environment without any side coverings to prevent dust and flies from entering. Additionally, medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records were unavailable.

Sri Lakshmi Grand Udupi Hotel, located beside BBR Hospital in Balanagar, was found operating without a valid license. Inspectors found rotten and damaged carrots, which were discarded on the spot. Packed parathas lacked proper labeling. Cobwebs were observed above the grinding area, and the premises were untidy. Several food handlers were not wearing headgear, gloves, and aprons. The kitchen lacked an insect-proof screen, and the doors were not close-fitted to prevent pest entry. Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records were missing.

Shree Raghavendra Bhavan at Alluri Trade Centre in Kukatpally was operating with an expired license since December 2023. Inspectors discarded expired packed papad (dated May 11, 2024) on the spot. They also seized 10kg of Maharaja Brand Chopra due to the absence of manufacturing and use-by dates. Several food handlers were not wearing headgear, gloves, and aprons. The kitchen premises were unhygienic, with water stagnation and improper food storage inside refrigerators, which lacked labels and covers. Insect-proof screens were also missing. Medical fitness certificates for food handlers and pest control records were not available.

The inspections highlight serious health and safety violations at these eateries, prompting immediate corrective actions to ensure public safety and hygiene standards.
