 Tank Bund to dazzle on Telangana formation day evening

Secunderabad: Tank bund will be a visual extravaganza for the attendees of Telangana formation day celebrations during the evening on coming Sunday. With the preparation for Telangana formation day celebrations in full swing it is going to enhance the spectacle

As the dusk falls, the tranquil waters come alive with a dazzling array of lights for the city bound celebrations. Tourists and locals alike would flock to witness the grandeur of the illuminated Tank Bund to witness the picturesque scenes. The vibrant lights reflect off the tranquil waters making Tank Bund a must-visit destination for those seeking both serenity and spectacle in equal measure.

The Telangana government had organised a carnival, fireworks, laser show, food and gaming stalls on the tank bund. In addition, several cultural programmes have also been chalked out.

Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy and his cabinet ministers and other dignitaries will attend several cultural programmes organised on the tank bund. There will be carnival performances by various cultural art troupes from different districts of the state. Many classical, folk and Deccani cultural programmes on the main stage. March-Fast with national flags on telangana state official anthem ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’ is also on the cards.

Further around 80 stalls are being set up on the tank bund. These stalls include stalls of handicrafts, goods manufactured by self-help groups(SHG), handloom products and stalls set up by several prominent hotels in the city. Gaming shows have been arranged for young children.

In the morning hours on coming Sunday,the Chief Minister will participate in several programmes at the Parade Ground in Secunderabad after paying floral tributes to the martyrs’ stupa at Gun-Park in the morning. With the summer approaching precautionary measures are being made to ensure that there is no difficulty for the people and celebrities attending. Special medical camps are also being set up in the assembly premises. Drinking water facilities and proper toilets are also being set up.
