HYDERABAD: Several students, accompanied by their parents, held protests at the School of Agriculture at Malla Reddy University in Hyderabad on Monday.

Students Protest at Malla Reddy: Outrage Over Fees and Food Quality Sparks Demonstrations

The students burned an effigy of former BRS MLA Malla Reddy, alleging several issues, including high fees and unhygienic food in hostels. Reportedly, the protesting students also destroyed furniture on the University premises.

The students also expressed outrage over the detention of 22 Agricultural BSc students. The protestors demanded justice and proper food in the hostels, and they also requested a reevaluation of the detained students. The police arrived at the campus to control the situation.
