Student Leaders Protest NEET Cancellation at Kishan Reddy’s Home

Student Protest Neet Cancellation.

Nallakunta: Several student leaders laid siege to Kishan Reddy residence in Nallakunta and tried to barge into the residence in protest against the cancellation of NEET examination by NTA. The protest erupted after Reddy rejected appointment for the student leaders.

“Union Minister Kishan Reddy’s appointment has been sought to cancel the exam and re-conduct it and ensure that justice is done to the students.But when Kishan Reddy garu did not give us an appointment, the leaders of the united youth and student organisations tried to gherao Kishan Reddy’s house and protest.We request Kishan Reddy, who is a Union Minister, to take up their demands on behalf of NEET students with Prime Minister Naredner Modi.,” said National students’ Union of India(NSUI) Telangana State president Venkat Balmoor.

Further Balmoor demand that the NTA should be abolished and an inquiry should be conducted by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court into the paper leak.” We demand an apology from the central government to the 24 lakh students and their parents who wrote NEET.More than 60,000 students from our Telugu states have written neet exam and 24 lakh students from across the country should be given justice” said Venkat Balmoor.

Student Leaders Protest Neet Cancellation

Several student leaders MLC Venkat Balmoor, NSUI State president, AISF state secretary Putta Laxman & kranthi,SFI Rajinikanth,PDSU student leaders Ramakrishna and Nageshwar Rao and srikanth, NSUI city president Abhijeet yadav and NSUI Rangareddy district president Vishnu Vardhan reddy. Participated in the protest.

Several student leaders of various students and youth organisations – NSUI, SFI, AISF, PDSU, PYC, DYFI, AIYF,PYL, VJS,YJS participated. The police arrested and shifted them to Nallakunta police station.

Hyderabad police stopped the students from reaching the Kishan Reddy residence and took them into preventive custody. “If they were not taken into custody they might have committed any cognizable offence. Following which they were taken into preventive custody under 151 CrPc and shifted to Nallakunta police station,” said police.
