Shilparamam Madhapur hosts vibrant Bengali New Year celebration

MADHAPUR: The vibrant festivities of Bengali New Year came alive at Shilparamam Madhapur, igniting the spirit of joy on Saturday. Collaboratively organised by Uttaran Bangiya Samiti and Shilparamam Madhapur, the celebration of Bengali New Year, known as ‘Poila Boishak’, unfolded with unparalleled grandeur.

A stall adorned with handicrafts showcased an array of Bengali traditional clothing, sarees, jewelry, paintings, and more, captivating the visitors. The enchanting performances of Bengali traditional dances, songs, and music, inspired by the timeless lyrics of Rabindranath Tagore, left an indelible impression on the visitors.

Uttarang is scheduled from April 13, 2024, beginning at 4 p.m. at Shilparamam. The event promises a delightful blend of a food festival, captivating musical performances, and exciting shopping avenues. Open to all, entry to Shilparamam is free of charge.
