HYDERABAD: A new criminal case has been filed against BJP MP Navneet Rana by the Saidabad police for her remarks during a political meeting. The complaint was lodged by Ch. Rakesh, who serves as the Flying Squad Team in charge for Yakuthpura Assembly segment.

Rakesh reported that Navneet Rana made provocative comments during a speech at a meeting held on May 8 at Laxmi Garden. Navneet was reacting to Akbaruddin Owaisi’s comments made 13 years ago that if police are silent for 15 minutes we will take on 100 crore Hindus. Similarly, Navneet Rana said she just needed 15 seconds to act against the Owaisi brothers.

Rakesh brought this matter to the attention of his superior officer, discussed it with them. Then filed a complaint on Navneet Rana on Friday. Navneet Kaur’s comments are provocative and could influence the elections for both groups. Hence, he requested necessary action to be taken as per the law.
