Nampally court sentences man for two days for carrying knife in Mir Chowk

MIRCHOWK: A Special Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally Court has ordered a two-day imprisonment for an individual found behaving suspiciously with a knife in Nurkhan Bazar.

The incident unfolded during a routine bandobast on January 29 around 4:00 AM, when Mir Chowk Inspector R. Ravinder and ASI Shiv Ramulu, along with their team, confronted the suspect.

The man, who was wandering through the bustling Nurkhan Bazar with a knife, was apprehended swiftly by the police despite his attempts to evade them. Upon interrogation, he failed to provide any satisfactory explanations.

A case was filed, and the individual was presented before the 6th Special Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally Court. Following a comprehensive examination, the court handed down a two-day imprisonment sentence to the accused.
