Major fire broke out in Shadnagar Allwyn Pharma company in Hyderabad

SHADNAGAR: Another major fire accident erupted in Hyderabad, this time at the outskirts of Hyderabad near Shadnagar on Friday. A massive fire broke out in a pharma company, Allwyn Pharma located near the city.

It is estimated there were at least 300 people present at the time of the fire accident in the building. In the videos that are circulating on social media pertaining to the fire accident, it can be seen that people are trying to jump through the building inorder to survive, using ropes. According to the sources, Unable to bear the heat, at least four people jumped through the building and sustained injuries. And some other workers had also tried to get out of the building with the help of a ladder. The huge flames have also resulted in excess smoke, which is suffocating the residents around.

Meanwhile, rescue operations are still underway and at least five fire tenders were roped in at the location. According to the reports, there are 50 more workers still trapped inside the building. However, there is no official information on the number of casualties as of now.

The fire tender vehicles, which are pressed into action are continuously trying to put off the flames and are trying to rescue those who are trapped. The rescue operation is being overseen by the senior fire officials among others. It is also estimated that crores worth of property might have also been gutted into flames.

Fire Accidents on rise

In recent times in this summer season, the fire accidents are on the rise. Earlier this week, a fire broke out in a plastic godown in Balapur. Two fire engines were brought in to control the situation. And one month ago, there was another major fire accident in an oil godown in Tolichowki near Pista House. The oil spillage has also disturbed the traffic and resulted in a traffic jam of around four kilometres.
