Telangana government green signals for hike in Prabhas’s Kallki Ticket price

Hyderabad: Fans, brace for the higher ticket price for the Prabhas’s upcoming magnum opus, Kalki 2898 AD, as the Telangana government has given a green signal for the charging higher amounts for the Kalki tickets. The move came in after the production company, Vyjayanthi movies submitted a special request to the government requesting for benefit shows, additional shows and for a hike in the ticket price. Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD is a sci-fi mythical drama directed by Nag Ashwin, known for his previous hits such as Mananati. Kalki is releasing worldwide on June 27, 2024.

Kalki Special show at 5:30 am

In an official order dated June 22, 2024 released by the government, it said that “Government after careful examination of the matter here by permit M/s Vyjayanthi movies to allow 6th show i.e., special show at 5:30 am on June 2, 2024 with enhanced rate by Rs.200 including GST. Government hereby also permit 5 shows for a period of 8 days from June 27th to July 4, 2024 in all the released theatres in Telangana state for movie Kalki 2898 AD and also permit to hike rates by Rs.75 for the single screen theatres and Rs.100 for Multiplex theatres respectively all across the state of Telangana for the said days.”

Further it was notified that the permission was granted temporarily subject to payment of tax to the government on usual terms and conditions and for Kalki 2898AD movie screening only. Further all the district collectors and licensing authorities in the Telangana state and the commissioners of Police in the Telangana state concerned are requested to take necessary follow up action accordingly in the matter.

Kalki 2898 AD is a true pan-Indian film, bringing together top talents from across the country. The ensemble cast features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
