Hyderabad Police Issue Traffic Advisory Ahead Of Election Vote Counting

HYDERABAD: In view of the General Elections to the House of People (Lok Sabha Elections) 2024, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory for June 4, 2024. Moderate traffic congestion is expected on roads near the counting centers. Traffic will be diverted on a need basis depending on the local situation.

Counting centres and traffic advisory

For the 57-Musheerabad Assembly Constituency, the counting will take place at A.V. College Domalguda. The designated parking areas are Bharat Scouts and Guide School Parking and the Government Physical Education College, Domalguda.

In the 67-Chandrayangutta Assembly Constituency, votes will be counted at Nizam College, Basheerbagh. Parking is available at Nizam College Ground No.04 and inside Gate No. 02.

For the 59-Amberpet Assembly Constituency, counting will occur at Raja Bahadur Venkatarama Reddy College for Women, Narayanaguda. The designated parking areas are YMCA Ground and Shanthi Theatre, Narayanguda.

The 58-Malakpet Assembly Constituency will have its vote counting at GHMC Indoor Stadium, Amberpet. Parking is available at GHMC Ground Amberpet and MCH Colony, Amberpet.

The 62-Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency’s vote counting will be at OU College of Commerce & Business Management, OU Campus, Tarnaka. The open place beside the MBA College is designated for parking.

In the 70-Secunderabad Assembly Constituency, counting will occur at P.G. Rami Reddy Centre for Distance Education, O.U. Parking is available at the Cycling Velodrome Ground.

For the 65-Goshamahal Assembly Constituency, counting will be held at Koti Women’s College (Auditorium), Koti. The designated parking area is Women’s College Ground.

The 66-Charminar Assembly Constituency will have its vote counting at Kamala Nehru Polytechnic, Exhibition Grounds, M.J. Market. Parking is at the Exhibition Ground beside the Admin Office.

For the 68-Yakuthpura Assembly Constituency, counting will occur at Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Maha Vidyalaya, Exhibition Grounds, M.J. Market. The designated parking area is Bheem Singh Rao Bada Parking Area.

In the 71-Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly Constituency, counting will be at CSIIT, Wesley College Premises. Parking is available at Wesley College for staff officers and candidates.

For the 60-Khairtabad and 61-Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituencies, counting will be at Kotla Vijayabhasker Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda Checkpost. Parking is available at Battalion Open Ground.

The 69-Bahadurpura Assembly Constituency’s vote counting will be at Aurora Legal Science Academy, Bandlaguda. Parking is available inside Aurora College for staff and beside Road-III, opposite lane for the public.

In the 63-Nampally Assembly Constituency, counting will be held at JNTU College of Fine Arts, Masab Tank. Parking is available at Hockey Ground Masab Tank and from Aiba Hotel to Shanti Nagar Club.

The 64-Karwan Assembly Constituency’s counting will be at Government Polytechnic College, Masab Tank. Parking is available in the college’s back side lane.

Authorized persons are requested to park their vehicles in the designated areas only. If traffic is diverted, updates will be provided via Hyderabad Traffic Police Twitter & Facebook, Traffic Live App, and FM Radio. The general public is advised to take note of the counting centers, plan their movements accordingly, and cooperate with the traffic police.
