Hyderabad City Police to organize free screening camp for reconstructive plastic surgery

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police, Bharosa, and Aakar Asha Hospital are organizing a free screening camp for reconstructive plastic surgery on Saturday, June 15. The camp is aimed at individuals with deformities caused by birth defects, accidents, or burns. It will be held at the Bharosa office, Haca Bhavan, Saifabad, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During the camp, citizens can avail free screening tests and surgeries. The camp will be inaugurated by K.Sreenivasa Reddy, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad. It’s important to note that the entire process, including screening, surgery, food, and accommodation, will be completely free of charge.

Aakar Asha Hospital, the partnering hospital for this initiative, has a strong reputation, with over 8,000 successful surgeries performed since 2013. These surgeries have significantly improved the lives of many patients, enabling them to pursue education and employment and live with dignity.
