Revanth has roots in Andhra, be aware with our capital: Harish Rao

Seat distribution bjp and congress

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader, Harish Rao addressed a press conference in Hyderabad on Saturday and alleged that there is an agreement between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Speaking in a press conference in the city, Harish Rao said, “There is an agreement to distribute 8 seats for congress and 8 seats for BJP,” said former finance minister.

He further added that Revanth Reddy has his roots in Andhra Pradesh, who are now trying to extend Hyderabad as a common capital for a longer time. “To safeguard the interests of Telangana people, they are looking to make the BRS party win in the parliamentary elections. People want change from the Congress party which is going in reverse gear,” said Harish Rao.

Harish Rao further said that Congress has the moral right to ask for votes in the parliamentary elections only if they implement the six guarantees that they have promised in the assembly elections. “Congress’s bond paper had become a bounce, that is the reason why people are looking at the BRS party and looking to punish the Congress,” said Harish Rao.

The former finance minister further alleged the Congress party that they are more focussed in sending money to Delhi than implementing the guarantees that they have given in the state.

“Revanth is not even showing any respect to the KCR, who brought statehood to Telangana. He is not showing respect even to his seniority and using derogatory terms against him,” added Harish Rao. He further questioned the Congress plans of reorganisation of districts and asked whether this move would take forward the state or further bring it backwards.

“So far, in the Praja Palana, 3 lakhs 50 thousand applications were received and the government should submit a white paper on this and say how many issues have they resolved. In order to suppress the voice of opposition, Revanth is putting false cases on our social media workers. And the Congress party that said it is against the party, is encouraging the same now,” said Harish Rao, questioning the hypocrisy of the Congress party.
