Secunderabad: G. Kishan Reddy, from Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) emerged victorious from Secunderabad parliamentary segment with a margin of 49,944 votes. He has garnered a total of 4,73,012 votes, putting him ahead in the race. Following behind is Danam Nagender from the Indian National Congress(INC), who has received 4,23,068 votes, trailing by a margin of 49,944 votes. G. Kishan Reddy voting share has increased from 42.05 in 2019 to 45.15 in 2024 parliament elections.

In third place, T Padma Rao from Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) has secured 1,29,586 votes trailing behind the two leading candidates. The vote counting process in the secunderabad parliamentary segment is being closely observed by three parties.

G. Kishan Reddy, from Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) is the sitting MP from Secunderabad parliament. In 2019 parliamentary elections, he emerged victorious by garnering 3,84,780 by defeating Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav from Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) (then TRS) with a margin of 62,114 votes. Danam Nagender who is a sitting MLA from Khairatabad switched his loyalty from BRS to INC after Congress sweeped the Telangana assembly elections, 2023.

Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency saw a voting percentage of 49.04 on May 13.
It should be noted that the Secunderabad Parliamentary constituency consists of Seven Assembly segments – Musheerabad, Amberpet, Kairathabad, Jubilee Hills, Sanathnagar, Nampally and Secunderabad.

Telangana state went for the Parliamentary elections for its 17 Lok Sabha constituencies on May 13, 2024. As the results are scheduled to be announced on June 4, the counting process across the counting centers began at 8am on Tuesday morning. This time, the ruling Indian National Congress(INC) party, opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are in the foray.
