FSSAI Task Force team found violations in eateries at Madhapur

Fssai Task Force Inspects Madhapur Area Eateries.

HYDERABAD: On Thursday, Food safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) task force team inspected eateries in the Madhapur area, uncovering significant violations.

The Rameshwaram Cafe:

The FSSAI task force found 100 kg of expired urad dal worth ₹16,000 at The Rameshwaram Cafe. They also discovered expired Nandini curd (10 kg) and milk (8 liters) worth ₹700. The team discarded these items on the spot. They seized improperly labeled raw rice (450 kg) and white lobia (20 kg) worth ₹26,000. Additionally, they confiscated 300 kg of unlabelled jaggery worth ₹30,000. Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were not available. Dustbins were not covered properly with lids.

Baahubali Kitchen:

The task force discarded synthetic food colors found in Baahubali Kitchen. They observed a heavy cockroach infestation in the kitchen and store room. Pest control records were not found. The kitchen premises were very unhygienic, with water stagnation in the cleaning area. Semi-prepared and raw food were improperly stored inside the refrigerator. Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were missing. The FSSAI license true copy was not displayed at the premises.

The task force’s inspections highlighted serious hygiene and safety violations, ensuring public health remains a priority.
