HYDERABAD: The task force team inspects Halo Cocktail Bar and Kitchen in Jubilee Hills on Tuesday. They find several expired food articles, including Golden Rings Keora Water, Malabar Parota Half Baked, and Spicy Black Bean Sauce, which are discarded on the spot. The team seizes food items like Corn Flour, American Garden Apple Cider Vinegar, Black Pepper, and Tea Powder due to improper labeling.

The inspectors discover most semi-prepared food articles in the refrigerator are expired or beyond use-by dates and discard them immediately. They note the absence of medical fitness certificates for food handlers. Additionally, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food articles are stored together, violating food safety regulations. However, they observe that the FSSAI License true copy is displayed at the billing counter.

The task force finds severe rat infestation at Hotel New Fishland in Lakdikapul on Saturday. Live rats roam the kitchen, and synthetic food colors are discarded. They observe open dustbins, lack of Medical Fitness Certificates, and missing pest control records. The semi-prepared food is uncovered and unlabeled, and the FSSAI license is not displayed.
At Hotel Ashoka’s kitchen, the task force discards expired food items, including 5 kg of Chicken Leg Boneless and 10 kg of Green Gram Dal on Saturday. They seize improperly labeled cashews and note a cockroach infestation. However, food is covered and labeled, dustbins have lids, and the FBO holds necessary certificates and pest control records.
