Ex-DCP Radha Kishan booked for kidnapping Kria healthcare founder

Ex Dcp Radha Kishan Rao

HYDERABAD: Former deputy commissioner of police (DCP), task force, T Radha Kishan Rao, who was recently arrested in the alleged phone tapping case has now been booked for kidnapping Kria Healthcare Private Ltd founder Venu Madhav Chennupati.

According to the First Information report issued by Jubilee Hills Police, Business Partners of Venu Madhav Chennupati colluded and approached the then DCP Radha Kishan Rao to forcefully take over the Kria Healthcare Private Ltd valued at ₹100 crores

Venu Madhav alleged that he was kidnapped on November 22, 2018, saying that he was being detained on CI’s orders. Venu Madhav was taken to the DCP office where they allegedly coerced him to relinquish the ownership of Kria Healthcare at gunpoint. According to Venu Madhav’s complaint, DCP Radha Kishan was promised hefty amounts by the four part-time directors for executing this plan.

In his complaint, Venu Madhav stated “I was made to sign the settlement agreement with weapons like guns and sticks being shown at me, and I had to sign the agreement to save my life.”

Explaining why he is registering the complaint 6 years after the kidnap, Venu Madhav added in his complaint that he saw Radha Kishan’s arrest on television and wanted to report this incident as he feels he will be safe doing so now.

The case involved an undervalued transaction to acquire Venu’s shares. Despite threats, Venu now seeks justice and urges Hyderabad City Police to investigate these matters comprehensively, including the roles of Mr. Radha Kishan, CEO of Goldfish Abode Private Limited Chandrasekhar Vege, four part-time directors of Kria, and others involved.
