BJP leaders Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay gets a berth in Modi’s Cabinet

The Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, G Kishan Reddy who won from the Secunderabad Parliamentary Segment and Bandi Sanjay who won from the Karimnagar segment made it to Modi’s new cabinet. In the recently concluded 2024 Lok Sabha elections, from Telangana, out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party has bagged 8 MP seats and the other eight seats were bagged by the Indian National Congress (INC) party leaders, while one seat took over by the AIMIM party in the state.

BJP Telangana state president, G Kishan Reddy, the 63 year old leader has also served as Union minister for Culture and Tourism in the previous cabinet and has now retained his position, after winning the Secunderabad MP seat. While it is being speculated that he would be given the ministry of Culture and Tourism again, it is yet to be received through official channels.

G Kishan Reddy took to X and said, “With the blessings of the people of Secunderabad & Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi, I will be taking oath as Union Minister today at 7pm. My gratitude to the constituents of Secunderabad, Hon’ble PM, @BJP4India President Shri @JPNadda ji, Sr leaders, and all well-wishers for reiterating trust and faith in me. I seek your continued support.”

 

Another BJP leader Bandi Sanjay, who is now serving as BJP National general secretary has also been inducted into Modi’s cabinet. Bandi Sanjay, who won from the Karimnagar segment is a local leader, who rose from the level of a volunteer. It is also being revealed that around 43 people secured spots in the Union Cabinet of Modi 3.0 from across the country representing various National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners.

Cabinet Ministers in Andhra

Meanwhile from the state of Andhra Pradesh, three leaders, including Rammohan Naidu, Pemmasaani Chandrashekar and Srinivasa Varama set to have confirmed the berth in the Union Cabinet. And two of the ministers are also set to take oath on Sunday, along with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s oath taking ceremony. Andhra Pradesh’s CM designate, Chandrababu Naidu, who was in Hyderabad to participate in the final rites of Ramoji Rao also reached the Shamshabad Airport and is on his way to the Oath Taking ceremony of Prime Minister, Modi.
