Despite a price hike in the Telugu states for the Kalki 2898AD tickets, the audience are lining up at the theatres to witness the spectacle. And within two days, the ticket prices are expected to come down as the permission to hike the ticket price was limited to the first week of its release. It is expected that the drop in ticket prices would further boost sales at the box office, as more people would opt for a theatre watch.

Earlier, several stars including Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, Rajinikanth among others have showered their appreciation for the film. Kalki 2898 AD is a pan-Indian film, bringing together top talents from across the country. The ensemble cast features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles and actors like Vijay Devarakonda and Dulquer Salmaan in special roles. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, this multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle is set in the future and is released on June 27, 2024.
