Bachupally residents seek permanent road fix

Bachupally Road Permanent Fix

Bachupally: The entrance to Bachupally’s KRCR Colony Double Road, which used to have potholes, has been fixed by the authorities of Nizampet Municipal Corporation. However, residents of Bachupally feel that the repairs are only a temporary solution and are requesting the authorities to find a permanent fix.

While speaking with the Hyderabad Mail, a resident of Bachupally expressed concerns about a hazardous pothole on a two-way road. The pothole tends to fill with rainwater, creating a stagnant and risky situation. After repeatedly complaining to Corporator Vijaya Lakshmi Subba Rao, the issue was escalated to the Nizampet Municipal Commissioner for further action.

The Nizampet Municipal Commissioner promptly responded to the complaints, implemented a temporary solution, and resolved the issue. However, the residents are now requesting a permanent solution.

Hyderabad Mail recently reported a similar issue in the KRCR colony, where residents are experiencing persistent water stagnation and drainage backup problems, even with minimal rainfall on Road No. 1 in Bachupally, Mallampet Road, near Silver Oaks International High School.

The residents of KRCR Colony Road No. 1 have mentioned that while their issue has been temporarily resolved, there is a need for the Nizampet Municipal Corporation to take permanent action to address the ongoing problem. This is particularly important as it is currently the rainy season, and there are high chances of potential risks in the area.
