HYDERABAD: ACB apprehended Senior assistant of Zoo for accepting the Bribe. Saraf Ramesh, a senior assistant at Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad, was apprehended by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday for allegedly soliciting and accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 for an official favour.

Ramesh reportedly demanded a Rs. 5,000 bribe from the complainant, Md Azam Shareef, a resident of Saidabad, in exchange for official favor.

According to ACB Ramesh demanded the bribe to expedite the process of transferring family pension benefits from the complainant’s deceased mother to his unmarried sister. The accused officer is accused of neglecting his public duties and acting dishonestly.
