Yadadri MLA Samuel accuses whip Beera Ilaiah of betrayal

YADADRI: A fresh rift has erupted in the Congress in Telangana after Alair MLA and government whip Beera Ilaiah came under sharp attack from his own party colleague.
Choutuppal MLA Mandula Samuel accused Ilaiah of “indulging in cheap politics” and warned him not to damage the party for personal reasons.
Samuel warns Ilaiah against political deals
Samuel alleged that in the upcoming Mother Dairy elections, some local Congress leaders were secretly aligning with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). He cautioned Ilaiah not to “indulge in political prostitution” for family interests.
“If the BRS candidate wins the Mother Dairy election, Ilaiah must take moral responsibility and resign,” Samuel said.
‘Do not betray the party’
Samuel alleged that Ilaiah was conspiring to weaken Congress from within. He urged party workers not to fall for inducements and to ensure the victory of all three Congress candidates.
“If the Congress loses, leaders and workers will teach Ilaiah a lesson,” Samuel warned. He also suggested that Ilaiah should resign from the Congress if he wanted to pursue political deals.
