Heavy rain forces closure of schools in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri
BHUVANAGIRI: The Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district administration has declared a holiday for all government, local body, and private schools on October 30, 2025, due to heavy rain across the district.
District Collector Hanumantha Rao announced that the weekly public grievance programme, usually held every Thursday, has been cancelled owing to the incessant rainfall. He said the decision was taken to prevent inconvenience to citizens travelling to the collectorate.
“The public grievance meeting will resume as usual next Thursday,” the collector said in a statement.
District Education Officer of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri confirmed that all schools, including those run by government, local bodies and private managements, will remain closed on Thursday as per the collector’s directions.
