TELANGANA: Software engineer dies of electric shock in Yadadri-Bhongir

HYDERABAD: A 26-year-old software engineer working from home died of electrocution on Tuesday morning at Lingarajupalli village in Atmakur (M) mandal.
The deceased, identified as Bhushi Ganesh was reportedly employed with a Bengaluru-based software company and had been working remotely for the past few days.
Incident occurred while removing metal pipes near live wires
According to locals, construction work was recently carried out at the family’s house, including cement plastering of walls. While removing iron pipes used for the work, one of them came in contact with live electrical wires adjacent to the wall. Ganesh received a severe electric shock and collapsed.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died on the way. His father, Narsimha, who tried to rescue him, suffered injuries in the incident.
Ganesh was the couple’s only son, and his death plunged the family into grief.
