Cctv Evidence Allegedly Linked A Man To The Death Of Her Mother In A Bike Incident

HYDERABAD: A 19-year-old woman helped police arrest her husband after her mother died in a motorcycle accident, police said.

Medipally police arrested K Snehit, 28, on May 1. His wife, K Kavya, filed the complaint. Police booked him for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Police said Snehit was riding a bike with his mother-in-law, K Aruna, 39, as pillion. During the ride, Aruna fell off the motorcycle. She suffered severe head injuries. She later died in hospital.

Investigators said Snehit’s initial statements did not match the evidence. CCTV footage also contradicted his version of events.

Police said Kavya helped investigators. She pointed out inconsistencies after reviewing the footage. The footage showed the sequence leading to Aruna’s fall.

After verifying evidence, police registered a case. They arrested Snehit. Further investigation is ongoing to establish the exact circumstances.
