According to reports, Jalkam Ravi had rented a villa at Fortune Butterfly City in Kadthal mandal for his real estate business. On June 4, Ravi celebrated his birthday with local BJP leaders and friends at the villa. Photos from the event were posted in various WhatsApp groups. However, Siva Goud, the group’s admin, deleted these photos. This action, amidst already-existing tensions, escalated the feud.
On Wednesday, Ravi and his friends brought the duo to Kadthal to resolve the issue. During a drinking session, the topic of the deleted photos arose, leading to a heated argument, and the duo was stabbed to death. The accused locked the villa and then informed the police the next day in order to surrender.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
