Warangal Deputy Collector Venkat Reddy booked in ACB case

WARANGAL: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted extensive searches at the residences of Venkat Reddy, a deputy collector posted in Warangal.

Private school bribe case

Reddy was caught last month while allegedly accepting a ₹60,000 bribe for granting permission to a private school. Subsequent inquiry indicated possession of disproportionate assets, officials said.

Searches across locations

Following the findings, ACB teams carried out searches at multiple locations, including his residence at Manchirevula.

During the searches, officials seized ₹30 lakh in cash and key property documents.
