NEW DELHI: Viswa Samudra Group buys Lutyens bungalow for ₹8.96 crore
Hyderabad-based Viswa Samudra Group has purchased a 883 sq m bungalow in Delhi’s Lutyens Bungalow Zone (LBZ). Businesspersons Sashidhar Chinta and Lakshmi Priyadarshini Chinta acquired the property, with the sale deed registered in June.
The company paid ₹8.96 crore in stamp duty, according to official records. The bungalow is under joint ownership, requiring signatures from 10 parties for the transfer documents.

Viswa Samudra Group operates in engineering and infrastructure. With this deal, LBZ has once again drawn attention as one of India’s most sought-after real estate zones.
LBZ covers 28 sq km in south Delhi and has nearly 3,000 bungalows. The area is home to ministers, judges, senior bureaucrats and around 600 properties belonging to prominent business families.
LBZ demand rises among business families outside Delhi
Real estate consultants said demand from businesspersons outside Delhi has been strong. “They want this zone as their address and are willing to pay beyond market value,” a property consultant said.
In recent years, several transactions worth over ₹100 crore have been recorded in LBZ, underlining its position as one of the most prestigious property markets in India.
