Hyderabad: A drunk man slipped and fell from the PV Narasimha Rao (PVNR) Expressway at Attapur but miraculously survived after landing on the car body cover laid out by the locals.

The incident was recorded on camera and it occurred at pillar number 100 on Monday. The viral video shows a man hanging precariously from a wire after falling off from the elevated expressway. For a few moments, the man is shown struggling to firmly hold on to the wires.

Meanwhile, on the ground, the owner of a nearby car decor shop reacted quickly and offered his car body cover to locals who quickly spread it out and positioned it to ensure safe landing for the falling man and saved him.

It is reported that the drunk man received no major injuries in the free fall from the bridge.

However, this is not an incident involving a similar stunt.

In January, a man jumped off an under-construction flyover in Amberpet after locals raised an alarm upon noticing him stealing construction materials.

According to reports, Ramulu, a resident of Falaknuma, was stealing some construction-related equipment from an under-construction flyover. As the locals tried to catch him, the accused leapt off the flyover hoping to land on a nearby tree. However, he slipped and fell on the ground resulting in grievous injuries.
