Deputy CM Vikramarka Reaffirms Employment

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka reiterated that Congress government focus is providing employment to Telangana youth and assured to conduct another DSC and release more job notifications on Sunday.

Reiterating that Telangana state was formed with a focus on providing jobs, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said, “Through various movements and the sacrifices of students resulted in the creation of Telangana. It was the congress government which gave Telangana state. Immediately after coming to power our government filled 30,000 job vacancies by giving posting orders”.

Speaking to the media specifically about the District Selection Committee (DSC) examination in Telangana state, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said, “To strengthen the education system and provide quality education to underprivileged students, we announced the DSC exams. The previous government neglected the unemployed youth. For ten years, the previous government did not conduct any DSC exams. Before the elections 6, September, 2023, they released a notification just to gain votes, but they announced only 5,000 posts without conducting the exams. As soon as our government came into power, we issued notifications by adding another 6,000 posts and gave a notification for more than 11,000 posts”.

He further added that over 2,00,500 hall tickets have already been downloaded, and a total of 2,79,000 candidates have applied. Some students are requesting or protesting to postpone the exams. We will also conduct the DSC exam strictly. He stated that around 16,000 teacher posts are vacant. The government is ready to conduct another DSC exam soon and will release a notification with the number of posts.

Recalling the Group 1 paper leaks and its postponement during the previous government regime, Vikramarka said, “After coming to power, the Congress government released notifications for Group 1 posts in February 2024 for 563 posts and more than four lakh aspirants applied for the post. And more than 3 lakh aspirants gave the examination in June. And over 31,000 aspirants qualified for the group 1 mains examination.However during the previous government’s tenure, unemployed youth suffered due to paper leaks”.

“The previous government postponed Group 2 exams three times. Further they couldn’t even conduct Group 3 exams. Our government has made arrangements to conduct these exams again. All these efforts are to ensure that unemployed youth do not suffer,” said Vikramarka.

“And the process is going on to fill 13,321 posts in various departments under the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC). We urge everyone to prepare well, secure jobs, and contribute to providing quality education to students” ended VIkramarka.
