HYDERABAD: Actor Vijay Deverakonda appeared before the CID’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Monday for questioning in the probe into illegal betting apps.

Officials are said to have questioned Deverakonda about payments and commissions received for promoting the banned betting platforms.

CID issues notices to multiple actors

Along with Deverakonda, the SIT has also issued notices to actor Prakash Raj, asking him to appear for questioning. It is known that several cases linked to betting apps have been registered across various police stations in both Telugu states.
