HYDERABAD: Actor Vijay Deverakonda narrowly escaped a road accident on National Highway 44 near Undavelli stage in Jogulamba Gadwal district on Sunday.

Police said the actor was travelling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad along with his mother when another car hit their vehicle from behind near Undavelli. The collision caused minor damage to the vehicle, but no one was injured.
Deverakonda later continued his journey in another car and reached Hyderabad safely, officials added.
