28-year-old man killed in Vanasthalipuram scooter skid accident

Hyderabad: A tragic accident occurred in Vanasthalipuram on August 17, 2024, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Kadari Shankar, a resident of Boduppal.
According to the reports, Shankar was traveling towards Bairamalguda when his scooter skidded on the road.
The incident caused him to fall and sustain severe injuries to his head and body. Local residents witnessed the accident and promptly alerted the police. Police authorities arrived at the scene and transported Shankar to a nearby hospital.
Despite efforts to save him, Shankar succumbed to his injuries about an hour later, according to the Vanasthalipuram police.
A case has been filed, and an investigation into the accident is currently underway.
It was earlier reported that on the 17th of August, a tragic incident occurred at the Habsiguda Signal in Tarnaka, Hyderabad. This incident resulted in the passing of Ranga Sathvika, a 16-year-old student in the 10th grade at Gowtham Model School, and caused severe injuries to the auto driver, Yellaiah.
Sathvika, who was on her way to school, was killed instantly when a high-speed tipper lorry collided with the parked auto she was in, pushing it into a stationary RTC bus. The auto driver, who was critically injured, was taken to a private hospital.
Another accident occurred on Saturday, August 3rd in Ibrahim Bagh, under the Golconda Police Station limits. A 7-year-old boy lost his life, and his parents were injured after their bike was struck by a car driven by an intoxicated driver.
Earlier, on Friday, August 2, a 19-year-old BBA student named Charan from ICFAI University died in a high-speed crash into a flyover near Raidurgam. Charan, who was returning home from BNR Hills, lost control of his Swift Dzire, resulting in severe damage and his death on the spot. The police have determined that overspeeding was the cause of the accident.
