Urban Sketchers Hyderabad’s 300th meet exhibition at T-Works on Dec 28-29
Hyderabad: Urban Sketchers Hyderabad (USk Hyderabad), a regional chapter of the global Urban Sketchers community, is set to celebrate a significant milestone, which is the completion of 300 sketch meets, through an exhibition titled “300 for 300th.” This special event, marking the community’s growth since its formation in 2017, will take place at T-Works in Hyderabad on December 28 and 29, 2024.
The exhibition will feature a range of artistic styles, from urban sketches and vibrant watercolors to expressive pen work, offering visitors a unique glimpse into the diverse world of sketching. It will also celebrate the power of art to inspire and connect individuals.
The exhibition will begin on Saturday, December 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring an inaugural ceremony led by Jayesh Ranjan IAS, the Principal Secretary of the ITE&C and Industries Department, Government of Telangana.
Key figures such as Joginder Tanikella, CEO of T-Works, and Sita Pallacholla, CEO of WE Hub, will also be present. Following the inauguration, renowned artist Moshe Dayan will conduct a watercolor demonstration from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In the evening, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., there will be a special sketch meeting for participants and attendees.
On Sunday, December 29, the exhibition will continue from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a full day of sketching events and a cultural program in the evening. The closing ceremony, at 5:00 p.m., will feature Orhan Yalman Okan, the Turkish Consul General. The exhibition is free to attend, and visitors are invited to contribute creatively at the open “paint-it” stall.
