HYDERABAD: Police have issued key guidelines for spectators attending matches at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal, ahead of upcoming fixtures in the city.

Police ban several items inside stadium for security reasons

As part of security measures, authorities have installed boards at entry points restricting several items. Police said selfie sticks, earphone buds, power banks and mobile chargers will not be allowed inside the stadium premises.

Officials said these restrictions are aimed at ensuring crowd safety and preventing any security risks during high-attendance matches.

Police said additional personnel will be deployed in and around the stadium, with thorough checks at all gates. Spectators may face screening before entry, and security teams will monitor movement inside the venue.
