University of Hyderabad invites applications for Ph.D. admissions 2025–26

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH), a central university established in 1974 under an Act of Parliament, has announced its Ph.D. admission notification for the July 2025–26 session.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to various Ph.D. programmes. Of the total programmes offered, admissions to 21 Ph.D. courses will be conducted through an All-India Entrance Examination administered by the University of Hyderabad.
The remaining 20 programmes will admit candidates based on UGC-NET or CSIR-UGC-NET scores, in accordance with UGC guidelines.
The online application portal opened on April 11, 2025. The last date for submitting applications is April 30, 2025. The University of Hyderabad is located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana, and is recognized as an Institution of Eminence by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The campus spans over 2,300 acres and supports diverse flora and fauna, including over 700 species of flowering plants, 10 mammal species, 15 types of reptiles, and 220 bird species.
